It doesn't appear BGR #20 is going happen. Any chance someone will step up to the plate? Are there any future hosts lined up? I'm happy to help if I can - I'd hate to see this carnival die a quiet death.

I hope you don't mind, but I created a little avatar for this blog carnival that can be placed in sidebars - much like other carnivals such as Festival of the Trees and Circus of the Spineless. You can see it on my blog - Beetles In The Bush - in my sidebar down in the "Networks" section. Feel free to place it here for people to use if you like.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but someone has snagged the content of Berry Go Round #5 for a spam blog. I tried to report it, but the blogger form said that since it wasn't my content I couldn't report it (?). Here's the offending link (I stuck a space in it to break it): http:// gailpattonnk.blogspot.com/2009/03/berry-turn-round-5.html

Actually, the link on blog names lead to the blogs, but the posted editions are linked under their name (e.g., try to hoover on "BGR#1").

Am I missing something or... Well, I wish that the links in the sidebar would go directly to the post that is the Carnival, instead of to the most recent post of the host.

Finally! I'm delighted to see a plant carnival and would enjoy hosting sometime, maybe March or April. Must posts be current to be submitted, or will earlier posts be accepted?

Thanks!
