The BGR deadline is 10 days away and I heard you haven’t submitted your botanically inclined post yet. Submit your latest plant post and check The Daily Plant at the end of the month!

We’re also looking for hosts for July and August. You don’t even have to have had a post featured in BGR to host the carnival! If you’re interested in hosting, read about what it entails here and drop me a line at berrygoround at gmail.

Right on time, Hort Log put up a Berry Go Round full of smelly and ugly plants. It’s a very fun read, so head on over if you haven’t seen it yet.

April 26 is just 5 days away, so you’d better get writing if you want to have your post included. Remember, Hort Log has given us a theme for this month’s carnival – stinky and ugly plants

the kind that violate your aesthetic good taste or assault your olfactory sensitivities. An encounter with these plants will leave you in awe or in disgust, but never indifferent

Since this is a themed edition, feel free to dig through your archives for appropriate material.

The latest edition of Berry Go Round is up at Foothills Fancies. Sally, a longtime BGR supporter, has written up a lovely carnival. When you’re through with all the great posts over there, don’t forget to submit your post for March’s carnival at In the Company of Plants and Rocks. And if you’re really ambitious, you might want to get started on a post for April’s BGR – a special themed edition on smelly and ugly plants to be hosted by Hort Log.
