Submitting

Have you posted anything related to plant science lately? Than your post is probably suitable for Berry Go Round. Any kind of post related to plant is accepted, but gardening articles (please consider submitting to a Garden Carnival in this case). Always link back to the host when Berry Go Round is published; it allows your readers to have access to other exciting plant information. A reasonnable deadline for submission would be before the 25th of the month, so that the host may have time reading and preparing her/his edition.

 Hosting

New hosts are welcome. Hosting blogs may not necessarily be plant or science blogs. Please if you want to host a coming edition of Berry Go Round, send us your blog’s name, site link and preferred hosting date at seedsaside[at]gmail.com. Berry Go Round editions are expected to be published by the end of the month, usually by the 28-30th.

Guidelines are at host’s convenience, following the following criteria as a general philosophy: no more than five submissions from single blogs. Plants must be the main subject of the submitted posts, but given the historical systematic association of plants and fungi, posts about mushrooms can be eventually featured at the Berry as long as a reminder clearly indicates fungi are not considered plants anymore. Also, make sure to link to this site and announce the next host of Berry Go Round.

Finally! I’m delighted to see a plant carnival and would enjoy hosting sometime, maybe March or April. Must posts be current to be submitted, or will earlier posts be accepted?

Thanks!

Am I missing something or… Well, I wish that the links in the sidebar would go directly to the post that is the Carnival, instead of to the most recent post of the host.

Actually, the link on blog names lead to the blogs, but the posted editions are linked under their name (e.g., try to hoover on “BGR#1″).
